„Munich's only Jewish restaurant is (naturally) run by the Cohen's, a charming elderly couple who serve up Jewish specialities from around the world. The emphasis is on dishes from the North African and Eastern European diaspora, although the German/Israeli couple also manage to make arguably the best Wiener Schnitzel in Munich. Located in an unassuming courtyard, the interior with its white tablecloths and simple wooden chairs is refreshing simple and unpretentious. On fridays live klezmer music makes for a convival atmosphere.“

“One must share with others… For us the staff belong to the family. If we go out for a meal we usually take our employees along. (…) When preparing the dishes we stick to the rules. In Judaism, for instance, only ruminants with cloven hooves may be eaten.” Abendzeitung on the scene

“The best Wiener Schnitzel anywhere from Munich to Vienna!”

“Free and easy is a worn-thin expression, but for Cohen’s there is none better! Here the guest is well looked after with Jewish delicacies and kosher wine. (…) No wonder Cohen’s has long been a personal tip.”
